Experience the nature of Langeland on a 6 km hike with an artistic finish at The Fat Eye.

Hike with an artistic ending

On Easter Saturday, 19 April, Langelands Sti-venner invites you to a 6 km hike through beautiful landscapes that ends with a unique art visit.

From Søvertorp to The Fat Eye

The walk starts at Søvertorp, where cars are parked. From here the route goes through the extension of Bondegårdsskoven, around Longelse and to The Fat Eye at Fuglsbøllevejen 56 in Rudkøbing.

Art and relaxation in scenic surroundings

Upon arrival, artist Rikke Kiel will welcome you and give an exciting guided tour where she will explain the concept behind The Fat Eye and the works on display. Participants will also have the opportunity to experience the art-decorated park before the tour concludes with takeaway food on the terrace.

The Fat Eye - art and nature in perfect harmony

The Fat Eye is an international artistic sanctuary in the centre of Langeland. Artists from all over the world gather here to create and exhibit works in inspiring surroundings. The gallery is open a few days a year and Easter is a unique opportunity to experience the place, see the works and enjoy the beautiful nature. See Easter opening hours
