Exhibition and opening: Leo and Cleo
Author Cecilie Beck Gordon is exhibiting at Sømærke to mark the launch of her new children’s book about the two cats, Leo and Cleo, and their adventures on Strynø.

Exhibition opening with Leo and Cleo on Strynø
Come along to the exhibition opening at Sømærke and discover Cecilie Beck Gordon’s exhibition based on the new children’s book *Leo and Cleo … and Lucia Rae*. In the book, Strynø provides the backdrop for the story of the cats Leo and Cleo, who live on the island with Lucia Rae. When the cats set off on adventures, fantasy and reality collide, and children are invited to explore and reflect on the world around them. Cecilie Beck Gordon, who lives on Strynø herself, has both written and illustrated the book. The idea arose from a creative collaboration with her daughter, Lucia Rae. It began as a colouring book and gradually developed into the story of Leo, Cleo and Lucia Rae.
Discover the book’s world at Sømærke
To mark the book’s publication, Cecilie Beck Gordon is presenting an exhibition featuring the book’s illustrations at Sømærke, where a drawing table has also been set up. Here, children and adults alike have the chance to delve deeper into the story’s world on the island where the story is set.
