Future Stories from the Archipelago - A Sensory Writing Workshop
Experience a creative writing workshop in connection with Geopark Days – create stories inspired by the landscape.
What does the future look like when we listen to the earth and let words grow from the landscape? As part of Geopark Days, you are invited to a sensory writing workshop where you can create stories about the future in the South Funen Archipelago.
Sensory exercises and creative writing
Based on ecofeminist inspiration, you will be guided through creative writing exercises inspired by the nature around Klise Nor. This is not about heroic adventures, but about living, multi-voiced stories of hope, care, wildness and change. We start in nature, listen to it and write the future – as we dream, feel and hope it could be. In a time marked by crises and collapse, we want to create space for speculative stories that carry hope, give meaning and inspire action.
For women of all ages
The workshop is for women – young and old – who want to create space for reflection and immersion in the powerful surroundings of nature. Bring your friend, daughter or neighbour and share a day of words and presence.
Meet your guides
The workshop is led by Malene Sakskilde, cultural producer and project manager at the Geopark Secretariat, and Lone Mørch, author, photographer and project manager. They will guide you through creative, ecofeminist-inspired writing exercises that connect words, body and landscape. The workshop is part of a larger book and exhibition project about the people, nature and cultural heritage of the Geopark.
