Maritime storytellers Aske Ebbesen and André Andersen
Experience world-class storytelling - The Sea History Buddies during Geopark Days 2025
On Friday 30 May 2025, you can experience, free of charge, storytelling in a class of its own when the duo Søhistoriekumpanerne - Aske Ebbesen and André Andersen - perform live and entertaining stories. The event is part of Geopark Days 2025. The performance consists of oral stories, built around actual old myths, legends and travelling stories from Strynø and the South Funen archipelago.
Professional storytelling
Aske Ebbesen and André Andersen are professional storytellers. They write sharply cut stories that are delivered with strong stage presence and great contact with the audience - and where even the most serious stories always contain a touch of humour (and vice versa).
They perform their own stories all over the country - at theatres, museums, storytelling festivals, literature festivals and more - and tell stories for both children and adults.
André has been Danish champion in Storyslam and won ZULU Comedy Slam, while in 2020 Aske won the main prize at Words - a festival for professional oral storytelling held every year in Pentecost at Kronborg Castle.
