A charming market town, cosy villages, or right out in the middle of nowhere?

We have so many wonderful places, so one of the hardest choices is deciding where on the islands to stay.
Have you always dreamed of waking up to the sunrise and a sea view, or perhaps you prefer the view of woods and fields? Town or countryside, rolling hills or wild horses? The possibilities are endless. That’s why we’ve put together this guide to help you learn a bit more about our local areas.

Langeland, Strynø and Siø

Langeland Municipality comprises three inhabited islands: Langeland, Strynø and Siø.

Langeland is connected to Funen via bridges at Siø and Tåsinge. From the Langeland Bridge, it is only 15 km to the Svendborg motorway.

From Rudkøbing, there is a ferry service to Strynø (journey time 35 minutes) and to Marstal on Ærø (journey time 50 minutes).

From Spodsbjerg on East Langeland, there is a ferry service to Tårs (Lolland). The crossing takes 45 minutes. It is a 30-minute drive from Tårs to the E47 South Motorway.
