Move to Langeland

A place to be yourself ~ together with the rest of us

Photo: Mette Johnsen

Langeland and Strynø are for those who dream of more peace and quiet, a closer connection to nature, and a daily life that offers space for both community and personal pursuits. Here, you’ll live close to the coast, close to nature, and closer to the local community you’ll become part of.

Langeland is connected to Funen via a bridge over Siø and Tåsinge, and there is a ferry to Lolland from Spodsbjerg. This offers an island lifestyle with easy access to the rest of the country.

High quality of life

On Langeland, there is room to live a little more in tune with what feels important. Realdania’s 2025 study Our Quality of Life ranks Langeland among the five municipalities in Denmark with the highest perceived quality of life. This says something about everyday life here: about the sense of community, the closeness of neighbours, and living in a place where many people feel at home.
