Spring programme at Strynø Literary Association on Strynø
Strynø Literary Association is once again gathering audiences at Strynø Gl. Mejeri for an evening of poetry and artistic vision. Here, islanders and guests meet to discuss literature, conversation and contemplation – in the midst of the unique island environment of the South Funen Archipelago.
Lecture with Jessie Kleemann
The evening's guest is poet and multi-artist Jessie Kleemann, born in Upernavik in 1959. She is a prominent voice in contemporary Nordic art and known for working across poetry, performance and visual art.
Among her latest publications is the internationally acclaimed poetry collection Arkhticós Dolorôs. The audience can look forward to an evening where poetry and artistic reflections merge and open up new perspectives on identity, language and landscape.
Strynø Literary Association's events are supported by the Danish Arts Foundation and Strynø.
Practical information
The author evening will take place on Friday 8 May at 7.30 p.m. at Strynø Gl. Mejeri. There will be an opportunity to eat together at 6.30 p.m. at the same location.
