A cosy evening with knitting and knitting books
At Langeland Library, a relaxed evening is planned for 24 March at 7 p.m., where knitting and community go hand in hand. The pace is calm, the atmosphere informal, and there is plenty of time for both inspiration and cosy socialising.
The tiny knitting book show
The tiny knitting book show is a fun and engaging feel-knit-touch show with plenty of room for conversation and community. The evening is all about the joy of knitting and books – and sharing inspiration with each other.
Knitting books, trends and stories
Librarian and knitting book reviewer Camilla Sejerøe travels around with suitcases full of new, crisp knitting books and well-known evergreens. She talks about current trends in knitting and provides insight into the cultural history of knitting.
Time to browse and knit
There is plenty of time to look, browse and be inspired – and guests are very welcome to bring their own knitting. The evening is all about togetherness, curiosity and a shared enthusiasm for handicrafts.
Experiences nearby
A visit to Langeland Library can easily be combined with a trip around Rudkøbing, where small streets and the harbour environment invite you to relax and unwind. Langeland is part of the UNESCO Global Geopark South Funen Archipelago and offers both culture and nature at a relaxed pace.
Practical information
