Day trip to Svendborg

Naturama is a total experience with light, sound and film. The many exhibitions include the Nordic animals, Denmark's largest egg collection, the Arctic animals, the old zoological department or the close biodiversity in the Fairytale Garden exhibition. At Naturama you can experience giant whale skeletons, hundreds of birds, polar bears, wolves and wild boars

The Danish Welfare Museum is the best-preserved workhouse in the Nordic countries, dating from 1872 after the last workhouse closed in 1974. At the museum you can experience various special exhibitions with powerful and personal stories.

The museum has been awarded the Green Attraction label.

Gorilla Climbing Park has 8 individual obstacle courses. The courses vary in height and difficulty. You can also snowboard, bike and tarzan swing your way through the forest or take a 280 metre glide. In total, the park has over 2.7 kilometres of obstacle courses with more than 110 different climbing elements and several zip lines.

Svendborg harbour is beautifully located in the heart of Svendborg. The harbour offers modern facilities and a welcoming atmosphere for visiting sailors and tourists. Here you'll find life and activity from local boats, yachts and historic ships.

The gallery regularly exhibits Danish and international art in their large, bright premises overlooking Svendborgsund.
