Bird migration at Gulstav Mose
On Sunday, 14 September, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the Danish Bird Protection Foundation invites you to an atmospheric tour of Gulstav Mose and the nearby forests – right in the middle of the peak season for bird migration on South Langeland.
At this time of year, many small birds rest in the marsh and the surrounding forests before continuing their journey south. The tour begins with a visit to the beautiful bird tower, before we move through Gulstav Vesterskov and on down to the beach and Dovns Klint.
If the weather is favourable, there is a good chance of seeing an impressive bird of prey migration – you may see harriers, kites and other large birds on their way to their winter quarters.
