The Capricious Moon – children’s theatre
The Big Bang Theory for the little ones!To mark both the solar eclipse on 12 August and the presentation of the H.C. Ørsted Prize on 14 August, we at Langeland Library are presenting ‘The Little World Theatre’ with the show ‘The Capricious Moon’.

The universe – the sky – the planets and the stars have not yet been created.
There is nothing.
But one by one, the stars begin to shine. The sky lights up. The planets appear. Outer space fills with one marvellous and colourful planet after another. The Sun and the Moon take their places, and soon the universe is created. With a calm and gentle touch, the audience is guided into the wondrous world of the universe. Together with the capricious Moon, some of the fantastic phenomena of outer space are revealed. A solar eclipse is explained to the young audience in a light-hearted and humorous way.
Age group: 1.5–4-year-olds
The show will be performed on Tuesday 11 August at the library.
There are two performances: at 09.30 and at 10.30
The show is for 1.5–4-year-olds (please respect this age range)
Tickets must be booked in advance for both children and accompanying adults. Please note which of the two performances you are booking tickets for. There are a total of 60 tickets available, and they are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The tickets are free.
Please remember to book only the tickets you need, and to cancel any if you end up needing fewer. That way, as many people as possible can enjoy the play!
