With four exciting missions in ‘Submarine Captain for a Day’, children will enjoy a day filled with mystery, puzzles and fun beneath the sea. It all takes place in authentic surroundings – and requires both intelligence, courage and sharp senses – but everyone can join in.

The four missions

Listening mission: Hear the sounds of a real submarine.

UV sign mission: Find hidden clues with ultraviolet light.

Periscope mission: Decode signals from enemy ships.

Torpedo mission: Use a torpedo sight and make the right decision.

If you complete all the missions, you will receive a cool little prize like a real captain!

Price and practical information

The activity costs £3 and is for children only. Admission to the fort is free for children. ‘Submarine captain for a day’ is open every day until 31 October.
