Children's activities at Langeland Museum during the autumn holidays
Visit Langeland Museum during the autumn holidays and make imaginative aeroplanes and fun figures out of shrink plastic – completely free of charge!
Free autumn activity for children
On Wednesday 15 October in week 42, you can take your family on a fun day out filled with imagination and colour at Langelands Museum in Rudkøbing. Children and the young at heart are invited to create fun and whimsical figures out of shrink plastic – and perhaps design their very own key rings or pendants.
Make your own aeroplanes out of shrink plastic
Inspired by the current exhibition ‘Air War over Langeland 1940–45’, which is on display at the museum, you can make your own aeroplane out of shrink plastic. You can choose whether you want to draw your own design or use ready-made templates – the most important thing is that you have fun and let your creativity run wild. Everything will be shrunk into small works of art that you can take home with you.

In addition to the children's activity on Wednesday, you can experience Langelands Museum's many exhibitions throughout the autumn break. As an extra treat, in week 42 you can also see the special exhibition ‘From high in the sky to the bottom of the sea’ – a lively and graphic exhibition featuring weightless cardboard and paper planes, created in collaboration between artist Ann-Kerstina Nielsen and creative children from Langeland (see more here).
If you want even more history and experiences, the Cold War Museum Langeland is an obvious destination. The fort also offers child-friendly activities throughout the autumn holidays and is only a short drive from Rudkøbing.
