Above and below the water – creative painting workshop for children
What lies above and below the surface of the sea? We will explore this with brushes and imagination in this colourful workshop with visual artist Hans Kjær. Each participant will paint their own picture inspired by life above and below the water – and all the works will be combined into one large collaborative artwork, which can be viewed at the library for the rest of the week. Afterwards, the children can take their own paintings home with them on Friday afternoon.
The workshop is part of the project art2change – Change through Art, where creativity and community go hand in hand with a focus on the environment and artistic expression.
Practical information
- Price: The event is free and no registration is required – just show up.
- Age limit: All children are welcome. Preschool children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Remember: Clothes that can get paint on them.
