A tradition in the heart of nature

Join us for a simple yet meaningful celebration of Constitution Day on 5 June at 10 am by Oehlenschläger’s beech tree on North Langeland. Locals and visitors alike gather here for a cosy morning event in the open air.

Bring your own coffee, breakfast and folding chair

The day begins informally with coffee, tea and breakfast brought along – with the beech tree as a green backdrop. It is an opportunity to enjoy nature and the company of others.

Community singing and open forum

At around 11 am, we will sing “Der er et yndigt Land”, and perhaps someone will take the floor and give a short speech. Everyone is welcome to contribute.

Practical information

The event is free and requires no registration. Remember to bring your own food and drink and, if necessary, a chair.

Access: Stengade Skovvej, the car park at the edge of the forest – continue on foot eastwards along Skovvej, approx. 560 metres.

In case of rain: Cancelled
