A festive day for the whole family

On Saturday 1 August, Rudkøbing’s old sports ground will be transformed into a huge community festival when PostNord Danmark Rundt comes to Langeland for the first time. Here, you can follow the cycle race up close as the riders pass by the event, whilst enjoying the atmosphere alongside locals, visitors and cycling fans.

Big screens, live music and local stalls

At the venue, you can watch live cycling on big screens, listen to live music from the stage and explore the food trucks, stalls and local organisations. For children, there’s a bouncy castle, and the area also features a sponsor and exhibitor zone.

Practical information

The festival takes place at the old sports ground behind the bus terminal in Rudkøbing (Ringvejen 21). Large numbers of visitors are expected in the town, so please arrive in good time and be aware of road closures in connection with the cycle race. The cycling festival starts at 12:00 and ends at 18:00.

Parking

The Home Guard will direct you to the nearest car park when you arrive in Rudkøbing. To accommodate the cycle race, additional parking spaces have been set up at Strandparken.
