Film festival at Broløkke Manor – film night with dinner

On Saturday evening, the film festival moves from Bio Langeland to the atmospheric surroundings of Broløkke Manor. Here, international short films are combined with dinner, talks and music in a relaxed and sociable atmosphere.

International short films with powerful stories

The evening begins with a selection of international short films, ranging from drama and documentary to horror. In A Green Affair, you’ll encounter a unique and thought-provoking story about loneliness and relationships. Sansa focuses on the fragility of love, whilst the documentary Ivikkisartoq Kingulleq (The Last Grass Weaver) offers an insight into the preservation of Inuit cultural heritage. The film Entropy takes the audience to Greenland, where climate change is affecting both nature and livelihoods, and Lið við Lið explores relationships and distance in a dramatic encounter between two brothers in the Faroe Islands.

Dinner and festival atmosphere

After the screenings, the evening continues with dinner and presentations from the festival. The focus here is on community, the joy of film and the interaction between the audience and guests.

Music and a social evening

The evening rounds off with live music and a relaxed, social atmosphere, offering the chance to linger and enjoy the ambience. The music is provided by students from Humble Efterskole, who create a cosy setting for the rest of the evening.
