Glimpse: Organ concert in Tranekær Church
29/11 + 13/12 Organ concert performed by the young Langeland organist Christian Uhrenholdt
Meet the young organist from Langeland
Christian Uhrenholdt grew up with the keys and was captivated by the power of the organ from an early age. He plays regularly in churches on Langeland, receives lessons and dreams of a future as a professional organist. Look forward to an intimate encounter with a dedicated local musician who has mastered pipes, pedals and keys.
Beautiful acoustics and a peaceful atmosphere
Tranekær Castle Church provides an atmospheric setting for organ music, where the pure tones are allowed to ring out clearly. Take a seat, relax and enjoy an hour of contemplation in a space steeped in history. Langeland and Strynø are part of the UNESCO Global Geopark South Funen Archipelago – here there is time for contemplation, a desire for community and space for change.
The event is free and seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
From the entrance to the Medicinal Gardens, you can follow the Archipelago Trail south to Tranekær Church. The beautiful walk is approximately 1 km.
