Glimt 2025: Soleil Nuit
1/11-14/12 During the day, light dances on the mirrors, creating vivid explosions of colour. At night, the work shines like a star.
Soleil Nuit consists of two large discs covered with 5,000 coloured mirrors that reflect light and surroundings. The force of the wind brings the work to life and transforms it into a constantly changing, impressionistic experience.
About the artist
Sébastien Lefèvre is a lighting designer with a background in performing arts who creates architectural light installations and scenographies.
His works, such as ‘Soleil Nuit’, transform landscapes by adding luminous scenographic elements. He explores the ability of light to change our perception of space and architecture.
Glimt 2025
The Light Festival in Tranekær from 1 November to 14 December 2025 is open daily from 16:00-21:00.
