Guided tour of Tranekær Castle
Experience Tranekær Castle from the inside at this year's Geopark Days - a historical tour with stories about the castle and the Ahlefeldt-Laurvig family.
On the occasion of Geopark Days, Tranekær Castle will open its doors for two guided tours on 29 and 30 May 2025. This is a unique opportunity to experience the historic castle from the inside and hear vivid stories about the place and the long history of the Ahlefeldt-Laurvig family - spiced with wonderful anecdotes.

Price: DKK 150 per person
Meeting point: Slotsgården at Tranekær Castle (allow 10-15 minutes walk from the car park)
Toilets are located at the car park (note: there is no access to toilets at the castle)

Booking and tickets
Book your ticket online in advance and be sure to get a seat. If seats are available, tickets can be purchased at the door with MobilePay.
Tranekær Slot I/S reserves the right to cancel on the day if there are too few registrations.
The tour starts on time - please arrive 10 minutes early. You find your way by walking up the avenue (north side of the castle), past the Souvenarium and through the gate to the castle courtyard, where the guide will be waiting.
Geopark Days in Geopark Det Sydfynske Øhav
The event is part of Geopark Days, where you can experience outdoor activities, local food and new knowledge about the local natural, cultural and geological history of the UNESCO Global Geopark South Funen Archipelago.
