ISLA Music Fest on Strynø – a music festival in the South Funen Archipelago

Live music, electronic sounds and an island atmosphere

ISLA Music Fest is a laid-back music festival on Strynø, where you can enjoy a varied programme featuring both Danish and international artists. The music ranges from violin and composition to guitar, trombone, electronic soundscapes, DJs and special guest performances. The festival takes place at ISLA, where music, community and the special tranquillity of Strynø go hand in hand. There is room here for both immersion in the music and cosy breaks with food and drink.

Who’s performing?

The ISLA Musik Fest programme features Danish violinist and composer Anne Sophie Andersen, as well as Curve Attack from the USA. Curve Attack will perform with Sasha Brown from the USA on guitar and electronics, and Scott Flynn from the UK on trombone and electronics. In addition, Peter Kohlmetz Møller will play the ondes Martenot – an electronic instrument from the 1920s. The festival also features DJs and special guests.

For those curious about music

ISLA Musik Fest is for those who want to experience music in an informal setting and perhaps discover something you don’t hear every day. The programme features, among other things, experimental and electronic elements as well as classical instruments in new contexts. The atmosphere is island-like, creative and relaxed – perfect as part of a holiday in Denmark where you want to combine culture, nature and local community.

Food and drink will be served.
Tickets: DKK 175 – pay via MobilePay to Box 1441XB or buy at the door for DKK 200. Children under 12: Free

You can also visit Strynø Mill or enjoy a peaceful stroll through the village and along the coast. Strynø is part of the UNESCO Global Geopark South Funen Archipelago, where the landscape, island life and sea tell the story of a submerged Ice Age landscape.
