Winter Exhibition - art in Nowhuset

Every year, artists from South Funen and Langeland exhibit at the Winter Exhibition in Galleri Nowhuset in Tullebølle. They show paintings, drawings, graphics, sculptures and ceramics.

The winter exhibition

The winter exhibition in Nowhuset, Tullebølle, showcases nature and people in various forms. Poul V. Rasmussen, a passionate nature nerd, ornithologist, painter and draughtsman, debuts with lifelike motifs at the exhibition.

The exhibition opens on 8 February and presents works from 11 artists from Langeland, Tåsinge and Funen, including paintings, prints and ceramics.

Another debutant, printmaker Lene Jelling Holm, focuses on the processes of nature with themes of impermanence, vanity and decay in her prints. Visual artist Bente Lauridsen is inspired by people and faces, often with a mood of silence, melancholy and contemplation. Kai Glad paints birds, people and landscapes with a whimsical undertone and has created the motif for the exhibition poster.

Among the permanent artists in the exhibition are ceramists Poul Erik Eliasen and Ulla Keramik and painters Kirsten Muchitsch Hesselager, Hanne Biben Mortensen, Gitte Buch and Jørgen Te-Jun Chang.
