Koncert: Die Herren ”U2s BEST”
Die Herren have toured all of Denmark with U2's fantastic songs and lyrics for more than 30 years, and have played more than 2,500 concerts since 1991!
With ‘U2's BEST’, Die Herren want, as always, to take the audience on a musical journey into the world of U2's music. A journey that they themselves may not have seen coming or expected! The audience should feel welcome and appreciated – involved and drawn into the concert, so that they go home with a sense of surprise and energy.
Die Herren breathe new life and energy into the songs in the present, without losing the historical U2 touch. One, With or Without Your, Sunday Bloody Sunday, Vertigo, I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, Where the Streets Have No Name, New Years Day and all the other great songs that work so well live are, of course, part of U2's BEST.
Die Herren can do something with the music that U2 themselves have not been able to do for many years, namely to take it to even the smallest venues. U2 only play in large arenas, usually never for less than 20,000 people. Die Herren make it a point of honour that their concerts should be intimate and engaging. Their mission is to reach out to ‘everyone’ in the audience, right down to the back row. The audience is invited and encouraged to become an important part of the concert, which of course always has the stated goal of being Die Herren's ‘best to date’.
