Natura – A site-specific concert at TICKON

Music amid Tranekær's art and nature

Suoni Gård Forening invites you to Natura – a special concert in the middle of TICKON's sculpture park at Tranekær Castle. The site-specific work by composer Siobhán Lamb will be performed by Suoni Summer Chorus and will enter into an artistic dialogue with the landscape and the permanent works in the park.

A work written for the location

Natura was commissioned by TICKON in 2023 and is composed based on the character of Tranekær Castle Park. The music is created to interact with the atmosphere, nature and visual expression of the location, giving the audience a sensory, contemplative experience under the open sky.

A quiet moment in the green

The concert takes place outdoors among trees, grass and sculptures – in a peaceful corner of Langeland, where art grows directly out of the landscape. The sounds, voices and location come together in a holistic experience, inviting the audience to listen – not just to the music, but to the place itself.

Tranekær offers several experiences near the castle park, including Tranekær Castle Mill, Stengade Forest and the Art Towers in the surrounding area. The area is part of the UNESCO Global Geopark South Funen Archipelago and combines cultural history, nature and art in a unique way.

Practical

The concert is included in the regular admission price to TICKON. The event does not require registration and takes place in the open air – remember to wear practical footwear and a light jacket if necessary. The park is partially accessible for people with walking difficulties, but has a few uneven paths.
