Spring at Skovsgaard on Langeland
Nature, mindfulness and curiosity
Spring at Skovsgaard is for those who want to get closer to nature and spend a day of tranquillity, learning and shared experiences in southern Langeland. The Skovsgaard nature destination offers walking trails, nature workshops, wild grazing, historic surroundings and seasonal activities that make it easy to explore nature. There is plenty of room here for both families with children and adults who wish to experience Langeland at a leisurely pace.
Experiences gathered in one spring season
During the spring, Skovsgaard brings together a range of activities where nature takes centre stage. The programme includes safaris to waterholes, meadows, woods and scrubland, creative workshops, activities with wild food, and walks that make it easy to explore biodiversity, animal tracks and the landscape. This creates a wonderful holistic experience where play, learning and outdoor life come together naturally.

When visiting Skovsgaard, it makes sense to combine your visit with other experiences on South Langeland. Lindelse Nor is one of the finest examples of a submerged Ice Age landscape in the UNESCO Global Geopark The South Funen Archipelago, and the area around Lindelse also offers charming destinations such as Lindelse Mill and Hennetved Gardens. Skovsgaard is also mentioned as an ideal destination from Humble, where nature lovers and families with children can continue their day in the South Langeland countryside.
Practical information
Skovsgaard is an experience that takes place both in the natural surroundings and within the historic grounds of the estate. This means that surfaces and access conditions may vary between buildings, courtyards and nature trails. The visit is well suited to guests who wish to combine exhibitions, nature workshops and walks in the countryside. It is also possible to plan the trip as part of a longer day in southern Langeland, where public transport can be combined with the final part of the journey by bike, on foot or by other local transport.
