Suoni Farm: Music of Courage, Love, Loss and Longing

6/8 Experience an atmospheric closing concert led by Suoni Summer Chorus with choir, cello and recitation.

Ending with heart and reflection

On Saturday evening, Suoni Gård concludes this year's festival with a concert in The Red Barn, where the music embraces the big and the intimate. The themes are courage, love, loss and longing – and the concert delves into what binds us together as human beings.

A strong musical team

Suoni Summer Chorus leads the evening with atmospheric works, including David's Lamentation, and presents intimate love songs with trumpeter Gerard Presencer and guitarist Vincent Lindsey-Clark. The audience can also look forward to the popular cellist Jacob Shaw, who returns with selected solo pieces and guest appearances with the choir.

Music meets words

Actress Lisa Buckley will read selected passages between the music, creating pauses for reflection and contemplation. The concert brings together the festival's many impressions in a calm, meditative finale, rounding off the programme with a sense of hope and presence.

A finale in the warm evening light

The rustic and natural setting of The Red Barn gives the concert a special intimacy. Here you can feel the presence of both the artists and the other audience members – all surrounded by the open landscape of Illebølle and the calm glow of late summer.

Experiences nearby

Complete the evening with a walk in the peaceful countryside around Illebølle or visit Lindelse Nor, which is nearby and part of the South Funen Archipelago Geopark. An ideal end to a day of music and nature.

Practical

The concert takes place in The Red Barn at Suoni Gård. Access by car, bicycle or carpool. The venue has limited access for people with walking difficulties – contact the organiser for details. Tickets can be reserved via Suoni Gård Forening.

Come and say goodbye to this year's festival – with music that moves and leaves a lasting impression.
