Bird Protection Foundation organises Open Tower in Tryggelev Nor

Tryggelev Nor - Open Hide

Sunday 4 May 2025, 13:00 - 15:00

Most of the many songbirds have now arrived. From the reed forest you can hear the screeching song of the reed warblers, and the bushes and scrub echo with the marvellous voices of the many species of birds that the nor is enriched with. Sometimes a nightingale sits in the scrub along the path to the bird hide, letting its beautiful and powerful song be heard all around. A master of elegant flight is often seen low over the reedbed. It is the marsh harrier on foraging patrol.

Meeting point: Tryggelev Nor car park, at the end of Stenbækvej, Humble.

Tour leader: Fugleværnsfonden's volunteer working group with Børge L. Rasmussen (Tel. 22216020).
