Rider presentation and starting area

The festivities get underway as early as mid-morning at Rudkøbing Harbour, where you can meet the peloton, see the race buses and perhaps bump into a cyclist or two.

From 11.00, there will be music, speeches and team presentations in Torvet. At 13.50, the race will start and the peloton will ride a circuit through the beautiful medieval streets, before crossing Torvet again and continuing through the pedestrianised area.

The town’s leading shops will remain open until 14:00.

Public festival in Rudkøbing

After the start in the town centre, you’ll have the chance to see the peloton again at Den Gamle Sportsplads on Ringvejen. It’s about 1 km from the town centre to the cycling festival.

You can also drive to Tranekær and watch the peloton pass by just before 15:00.

Expect traffic delays

To the ferries: Access to the ferries via Havnegade will be possible throughout the day. However, please allow plenty of time.

Parking: Follow the Home Guard’s instructions to one of the car parks and walk the rest of the way.
