Summer fun for children at Langelands Museum in Rudkøbing

Langelands Museum invites children and families to join in creative summer activities, offering space for imagination, immersion and cosy get-togethers. Here, you can take part in painting, building, modelling and creating little works of art inspired by the museum’s exhibitions and stories.

Creative activities for the whole family

1 JULY – Can you help our Midgard Serpent grow big and fearsome as we paint on beach stones together?

8 JULY – We’ll be making cool Viking shields, magical bead necklaces and beautiful beaded bracelets.

15 JULY – Can you unleash your inner artist and sculptor as we create imaginative figures and mini-sculptures out of silver foil and papier-mâché?

22 JULY – We’ll be painting on beach stones, and you can also draw or colour in your dream ship right in the middle of the exhibition about setting sail into the big wide world. This will take place at our DIY craft table (as we’ll be at the Bramfri Festival in Ørstedparken on this day).

29 JULY – We’ll shrink the world and play with shrink plastic. For example, make beautiful key rings or pendants featuring your own imaginative designs or ready-made motifs. You’ll find plenty of inspiration for motifs in our exciting exhibitions.
