An ideal base for school camps and group stays

Hovborglejren is located right by the water at Hov Nordstrand on the north coast of Langeland, just a few kilometres north of Lohals. Here you will find a relaxed and functional setting for school camps, family gatherings or other groups who want to stay close to nature and the beach.

The camp has dormitories with room for both large and small groups (10, 6 and 4 people), as well as a large and well-equipped kitchen that makes cooking easy for everyone. There is also a disabled-friendly room with the option of a nursing bed and a large bathroom, making the place accessible to all.

Facilities that encourage socialising

In the garden, you will find the charming pavilion ‘Padehatten’ and brand new table and bench sets, where there is plenty of space for outdoor fun and shared activities. The large green surroundings allow children and adults to enjoy themselves in safe, scenic surroundings.

Right by Langeland's fantastic coast

With only a few steps to the beach and a breathtaking view of the Great Belt Bridge, Hovborglejren is something special. The bathing jetty provides easy access to the water – perfect for a refreshing morning dip or beach activities during the day. Hov Nordstrand is known for its wide sandy beach and peaceful surroundings – an ideal starting point for contemplation, community and free play in nature.

Experiences nearby

The area north of Lohals offers plenty of exciting excursions. Take a walk in Troldeskoven (Troll Forest) at Vestre Stigtehave, discover the small Frankeklint Lighthouse, or go for a swim at Lohals Nordstrand, which has a bathing jetty and a Blue Flag. Langeland is part of the UNESCO Global Geopark South Funen Archipelago and offers exciting landscapes shaped by the Ice Age.

Practical

Hovborglejren is suitable for all ages and has facilities for wheelchair users. You can get here by car or public transport – the road from Lohals is short and beautiful. There is good parking at the campsite, and the beach is just below.
