Ohøj! One of Denmark’s cosiest shops is opening its doors all day and late into the evening for ‘Lys i Mørket’. Fiskerhytten – an old fisherman’s net shed dating from 1890 on the harbour front in Bagenkop – offers a cosy atmosphere, a great ambience and lovely Christmas gift ideas. This charming half-timbered house is a delight to visit, and here you’ll find lovely mittens, gloves, scarves and hats, cosy slippers and woollen socks, authentic sailor’s knitwear and fine merino woollen jumpers in a classic maritime style.
Pop in during ‘Light in the Dark’ and enjoy the exhibition and the atmosphere until 9.00 pm. You might even find a Christmas present or two....
Light in the Dark
The event is part of the ‘Light in the Dark’ cultural weekend, which takes place in Rudkøbing on Friday 6 November and across the whole of Langeland on Saturday 7 November 2026.
