Light Waves at Rudkøbing Skudehavn

With their work Light Waves, the Copenhagen-based artists’ collective Vertigo transforms the water at Rudkøbing Skudehavn into a canvas. The movement of the waves refracts the light, creating shifting patterns on the water, so that the installation is constantly changing.

Vertigo is an award-winning artists’ collective that works with set designs and light installations. The collective creates narratives that unfold throughout the space, which the audience experiences with all their senses. Among other things, Vertigo has created the work The Wave and collaborated with Hotel Pro Forma and Den Sorte Skole. The collective’s works have been presented at venues including the SNFCC in Athens, the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, the HKW in Berlin and the SMK in Copenhagen.
