Rundt om Langeland in Kajak

Paddle 115 km around Langeland by kayak - four days filled with nature experiences, cosiness and community during the Geopark Days.

‘Around Langeland Kayak 2026’ takes place in connection with Geopark Days during the Ascension Day holiday - 14 May to 17 May 2026. - 115 km over 4 days.

Participate in either all 4 days (Partout) for a total of 115 km or join a 2-day or 3-day stage. See the programme below.

Lots of days with room for fun, beautiful nature experiences, socialising and lots of kilometres in your arms. Everything is included in the price. The only things you need to bring yourself are:

- kayak

- tent

- sleeping mat

- sleeping bag

All your belongings will be transported to your accommodation by car (max. one bag per participant).

Throughout the trip, there will be delicious meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, snacks for all 4 stages, checkpoints, showers/toilets/sauna in the finish areas and, of course, a prize for the first kayaker to cross the finish line.

You can either participate in all 4 days (Partout) or in one of the 2-day stages:

- Price: (Partout) £2495 per participant (+fee)

- Price: (2-day stage) £1495 per participant (+fee)

You can also participate as a Fast Type (start number only)

- Price: (Fast Type) DKK 395 per participant (+fee)

Applicable to Fast Type tickets:

1) You must finish before the time limit at 4 p.m. on Sunday

2) You have your own support on land, as we cannot guarantee their logistics and safety,

3) You bring your own food

4) You track your trip as documentation if it is to be included in the competition

If you are a team from a kayaking club, you can purchase a ‘Club Ticket’ (minimum 10 participants).

Wednesday 16th - Option to arrive and stay overnight before the start on Thursday

 

The meeting point is Boldklubben, Rue Mark 9, 5900 Rudkøbing.

Dinner for those who wish - somewhere in Rudkøbing - at your own expense.

 

Thursday 17 May - Stage 1 Rudkøbing - Bagenkop approx. 25 km

 

8:00 a.m. check-in and skippers' meeting

Breakfast at your own expense

10:00 a.m. Start of stage

Lunch: Sandwiches from Charlottes Køkken

Overnight stay in tents at Strandgårdens Camping, Bagenkop

Dinner: by ‘Momlis - Linea Hansen’ - Tapas at Bagenkop Harbour

 

Friday, 18 May - Stage 2 - Bagenkop - Spodsbjerg approx. 28 km

 

7:00 a.m. Breakfast, check-in and skippers' meeting

Breakfast: Bakery bread, cheese, jam, various

9:00 Stage start

Lunch: Bowle by Charlottes Køkken

 

Dinner and overnight stay at Færgegården Camping, Spodsbjerg.

Dinner: Færgegården's ‘Fish Burger’.

 

Saturday 19 May - Stage 3 - Spodsbjerg - Lohals approx. 35 km

 

7:00 Breakfast, check-in and skipper meeting

Breakfast: Bakery bread, cheese, jam, various

9:00 Start of stage

Lunch: Sandwiches by Charlottes Køkken

Overnight stay at Lohals Strandcamping, Lohals Nordstrand.

Dinner at Holms Café and beach bar.

 

Sunday 1 June - Stage 4 - Lohals - Rudkøbing approx. 27 km

 

7:30 a.m. Breakfast, check-in and skippers' meeting

Breakfast: Bakery bread, cheese, jam, various items

10:00 Stage start

Lunch: Punch by Charlottes Køkken

17:00 Arrival, ceremony and prize giving

 

You must provide your own kayak or SUP board (hard board), as well as a tent, sleeping mat and sleeping bag. All items will be transported to the accommodation sites by land support in cars.

 

Throughout the trip, there will be delicious meals, snacks, fruit & water, checkpoints, showers/toilets in the finish areas, and of course prizes for the first kayaker and first SUP paddler to cross the finish line.

 

To avoid the use of paper and plastic tableware, please bring your own plates (one flat and one deep), cutlery, glasses and cups.

The event is part of Geopark Days, where you can experience outdoor activities, local food and new knowledge about the local nature, culture and geological history in the UNESCO Global Geopark South Funen Archipelago.
