Ukraine Rocks with Skryabin and community dancing in Rudkøbing
Ukraine Rocks invites you to a Danish-Ukrainian-Syrian island festival on Langeland, where music, dance and community take centre stage FREE OF CHARGE. In Rudkøbing, you can experience the Ukrainian pop/rock band Skryabin alongside folk dancers, musicians and local talent.
Skryabin – Ukrainian pop/rock on Langeland
The headline act of the evening is Skryabin, who occupy a prominent place in modern Ukrainian pop/rock. Look forward to hearing well-known songs such as ‘Stari Fotografi’, ‘Sam Sobie Kraina’ and ‘Mam’, amongst others. Ukraine Rocks is bringing Skryabin to Rudkøbing as part of a festival where different musical and cultural traditions come together.
Group dancing with folk dancers from South Funen
There’ll also be a chance to take to the dance floor yourself. Folk dancers and musicians from Langeland, Tåsinge and Svendborg will showcase their skills and invite the audience to join in the dancing. Local talents will also be performing, ensuring the programme features both international musical acts and local voices.
An island festival with room for community
Ukraine Rocks in Rudkøbing has been created as a Danish-Ukrainian-Syrian cultural gathering. Here, music and dance are the focal point, and you can experience different traditions side by side on Langeland.
