‘A wonderful adventure’ in Lohals
17:00–21:00 Embark on a wonderful adventure in Lohals, as the Lohals Business Association and Kulturstalden invite you to ‘Light in the Dark’, featuring glowing umbrellas, activities and a walk through the town.

From Kulturstalden to the harbour – a vibrant experience
During ‘Lys i Mørket’, Lohals is transformed into a luminous waterway. The evening begins at Kulturstalden, where guests are given glowing umbrellas and lanterns. From here, the walk takes you through the town – past the harbour, the woods and the beach – whilst red and green buoys guide the way through the darkness. When the streetlights are switched off at 17:17, 18:18, 19:19 and 20:20, the luminous landscape is highlighted, and Lohals takes shape as a poetic, fluid urban space.
Life in the streets and cosy surprises
Along the route, several of the town’s pubs and shops remain open. Here you can discover little surprises – perhaps a chat, a tasting or a gift voucher. When the tour ends at Kulturstalden, participants receive a special sailing certificate as a memento of the evening. The canal tour in Lohals creates a vibrant sense of community amidst the autumn darkness – an experience that brings a smile to the faces of both locals and visitors.
The route starts and ends at the forthcoming cultural centre, Kulturstalden, Søndergade 30A in Lohals.
