Bagenkop Kunsthal invites you to a unique art experience, where the gallery is plunged into darkness. Equipped with a head torch, you can light your own way and explore the works on display.
Paintings, nautical charts and maritime motifs
In the dark, you can experience paintings, nautical charts featuring maritime motifs and prints. Bagenkop Kunsthal is housed in the former lifeboat station by the harbour, so the maritime motifs have a natural connection to their surroundings.
See the art in a different light
When your head torch is the only light source, art in the dark becomes an experience where you decide for yourself which details stand out. Move around the art gallery, direct the light towards the works and experience the exhibition from new angles.
