Visit Bagenkop

The most southern city on Langeland, is an old fishing community, and you can still experience a wellkept and authentic fishing harbour from where cutters daily set out.

Bagenkop has a modern, nice and wellvisited marina, that has music on the  open air stage in the summer. Furthermore, it is at the marina you will find a bakesale, ice cream  sale and an art exhibition with new artists every week, which are open during summer.

The city  has two restaurants, Bagenkop Kro and Spisestedet Havnen, and you can buy fish sandwiches at Fiski, if you want to cook yourself, it is possible to e.g. buy fresh fish or buy supplies in the local Dagli´Brugs.

Bagenkop is in many ways an active city. If you want to be physically active, the city has water activities and outdoor experiences, a sports hall, a fitness center and Jump´n Move for the younger children, or you can take a walk in the fiery soul footpath (app. 3 km), which will lead you through town and tell a little story.

The city inhabitants arrange several different larger and smaller events during the year, e.g. the harbour feast, Day of the Fish, Day of the Harbour, Relay race for Life, Great Communities Day. Read more at Bagenkops Facebook
