Bedtime stories in the dark
Take the children along to an atmospheric storytelling session in the dark.

Vivid stories about life in the Archipelago
Join us as the South Funen Archipelago Geopark invites children and adults alike to hear vivid stories about life in the Archipelago. Storyteller and geopark guide Anne Marie Hybschmann will talk about the people, the sea and the islands – and about the time when Langeland was not yet part of the archipelago.
When the sea rose and the landscape changed
Hear the story of how the sea rose, the landscape changed, and the people adapted to their new surroundings. They became skilled at hunting both on land and at sea, and the story offers a fascinating insight into life in the landscape that, over time, became the Archipelago we know today.
Stories by candlelight
In the barn at the Langeland Visitor Centre, children and adults sit together on animal skins around the storyteller. The room is lit only by candlelight, creating a warm and cosy setting for the stories. The event is aimed at children aged 5 to 12, but the whole family is welcome to listen in.
Light in the Darkness
The event is part of the ‘Light in the Darkness’ cultural weekend, which takes place on Langeland and Strynø on Friday 6 November and Saturday 7 November 2026. See the full programme at www.govisitlangeland.com/light
