Guided tour of Magleby Nor on South Langeland

Discover the ‘hat hills’ and local history

Join the Langeland Tourism and Business Association on a guided tour through the ‘hat hills’ of Vesteregn. Here, you’ll hear stories about the unique landscape, the local history of the area and the reclaimed Magleby Nor.

The tour takes place on foot with local guide Britta Andersen, who will lead you through an area where nature and cultural history are closely intertwined. Along the way, there’ll be plenty of time to look around, ask questions and learn more about the ‘hatbakker’, which are so characteristic of Langeland.

Magleby Nor and Vesteregn

Magleby Nor forms part of the southern Langeland landscape, where former inlets, fields and hills bear witness to both the forces of nature and human use of the area. This guided tour offers a fascinating insight into how the landscape has changed and why the area remains an exciting place to explore.
