Little Big Air

26-27 Oct: Experience a day of wind and waves as kitesurfers take to the sky and sea with adrenaline-pumping tricks and jumps.

For the third year in a row, SHORES Langeland is organising Little Big Air, a competition for semi-professional (amateur) kitesurfers.

What you can experience

As an audience at Little Big Air, you'll experience a sky full of colourful kites as up to 30 kitesurfers take to the water simultaneously, harnessing the power of the wind combined with the dynamics of the waves to create spectacular jumps and tricks.

It's a day of wind and waves, so bring the whole family and get blown through - and backwards - by the amazing jumps and tricks. Stay updated on the day and location at

Competition in heights and somersaults

At Little Big Air, participants compete to see who can make the highest jump - some reach 14 - 15 metres in the air! An impressive sight as the kitesurfer flies into the air and lands on the sea surface with his board below him.

Next up is the wildest trick competition, where you can enjoy a series of impressive tricks and manoeuvres that will get your pulse racing and end the day with the wildest crash of the day!

A day in the wind - 26/27 October 2024

Little Big Air 2024 will (hopefully) take place on Saturday 26 or 27 October. As wind, and preferably lots of it, is a crucial factor for the Little Big Air competition to take place, the exact date and location will be decided when SHORES Langeland knows the wind conditions. The competition will either be held at Bagenkop Strand, Hesselbjerg Strand or Drejet at Spodsbjerg.
