Natteravne bring light to the darkness in Rudkøbing
Meet the Natteravne and ‘The Hobbit’
In the Green Education Garden at the Langeland Visitor Centre, you can meet the Natteravne and hear more about their work in promoting safety. They’ve brought ‘The Hobbit’ – their caravan – along and are ready for a friendly chat about what a Natteravn does.
Glow sticks, reflectors and a little something to eat
The distinctive yellow jackets are made even more visible with subtle fairy lights, and the Night Owls fill their pockets with glow sticks and reflectors to hand out. They’ll also be handing out their ‘party pack’ and serving coffee, tea, juice and cake.
Light in the Dark
The event is part of the ‘Light in the Dark’ cultural weekend taking place on Langeland and Strynø on Friday 6 November and Saturday 7 November 2026. See the full programme at langeland.dk/lys
