Walking Route: Cold War Museum, Leafy Woodland and Keldsnor Lighthouse
A 8km walk - combine a springtime woodland walk through Lunden with a visit to the Cold War Museum Langelands Fort. Meet a “Czech hedgehog” and see - if only from the outside - the striking lighthouse at Kelds Nor.
The trip begins at Langelandsfort and follows small, paved roads to the coast, where a small, charming fisherman's cottage welcomes you and the radar station at Føllesbjerg rises up on the horizon.
Please note! After the recent storms, the coastline around Lunden has become difficult to access. There are fallen trees, large rocks, passages with tall reeds and areas of coastal erosion, which make the trip challenging.
The route is therefore currently only recommended for very experienced hikers with good footwear and high mobility. It is not suitable for general hiking, families with children or people with walking difficulties.
