Heinali & Andriana-Yaroslava Saienko – Ukrainian music on Langeland

Experience an exciting musical journey when the Ukrainian duo Heinali & Andriana-Yaroslava Saienko visit the Music Boarding School in Humble on Langeland. Here, the sounds of the Middle Ages, Ukrainian folk songs and modern electronic music come together.

From medieval music to electronic soundscapes

The concert takes its inspiration from the music of Hildegard von Bingen, a composer, writer and nun in the Middle Ages.

The electronic composer Heinali, also known as Oleh Shpudeiko, works with modular synthesisers and draws inspiration from medieval musical traditions.

Together with the singer Andriana-Yaroslava Saienko, who draws on the Ukrainian folk song tradition, he creates a musical encounter between the past and the present.

Look forward to a concert where old melodies are given new life through electronic sounds and powerful vocals.

A Ukrainian duo with international experience

Heinali & Andriana-Yaroslava Saienko have performed at international venues and festivals such as Lincoln Centre in New York, the CTM Festival in Berlin, Rewire in The Hague and Primavera Sound in Barcelona.

Now you can experience the duo’s music on Langeland, with the Music Boarding School in Humble providing the setting for the concert.
