Kreativ Festival - Tranekaer Center
The KREATIV Festival on Langeland brings together the joy of creation, craftsmanship and a sense of community over five days, offering plenty of scope to experiment and try out new forms of creative expression.
KREATIV Festival is a festival for anyone who wants to create, experiment and get their hands dirty.
Here, people come together around craftsmanship and creative exploration – from goldsmithing, ceramics, textiles, painting and drawing to sculpture, movement, music and nature. You’ll have the chance to try out new forms of expression, immerse yourself in whatever captures your interest, and be inspired by skilled tutors and the people you meet along the way.
The festival is inspired by the folk high school spirit, where the joy of creation, craftsmanship and community form the foundation of each day. Here, creativity is about getting your hands dirty with the materials, trying out different crafts and forms of expression, and experiencing the joy of experimenting and seeing what emerges.
You don’t need any special creative skills to take part. If creativity lies a little outside your self-image or your comfort zone, you’re especially welcome.
