Light art at Langelandsfortet

Light art at Langelandsfortet featuring local stories
At Langelandsfortet, you can experience light art inspired by Langeland’s local history, the sea and the coastline. The works have been created by children from after-school clubs on Langeland, together with the artists Henriette Lorentz and Hans Kjær, and give the children’s creative stories a special place in the darkness. The artworks are made from recycled plastic and take the form of colourful and whimsical interpretations of life and the stories surrounding Langeland. The project behind the works at Langelandsfortet is a collaboration between Langelands Museum, VisitLangeland and the artists, with support from Kulturregion Fyn.
You can also look forward to an artistic surprise. Jens Galschiøt’s artwork *Cocoon* – and without giving too much away, we can say that it will be an installation that sparks thoughts, questions and conversations.
Free admission to ‘Lys i Mørket’.
