Light in Ørstedspavillonen
16:30–21:00 Light art, exhibition, treasure hunt, Ørsted’s words and a hot drink in the beautiful pavilion dating from 1908

Light art, treasure hunt and Dark Sky at the Ørsted Pavilion
Explore the various rooms and salons of the Ørsted Pavilion, where light art and an exhibition of Dark Sky photographs from Langeland put the darkness centre stage. Along the way, you can also learn more about some of H.C. Ørsted’s words and take part in a treasure hunt organised by Ø/strøm. You’ll have the chance to buy a hot drink and soak up the atmosphere in the beautiful pavilion, which dates from 1908.
Short films and film talk
In the Ørsted Pavilion, you can also watch three short films at 17.00, 17.45 and 18.30: Remember My Name, Bloom and Snipped. After the films, there will be an opportunity to hear more and ask questions of the producer duo Kim Magnusson and Rebecca Pruzan from M&M Productions.
The Ørsted Pavilion is open from 4.30 pm to 9.00 pm for ‘Light in the Dark’ on Friday 6 November.
Light in the Dark
The event forms part of the ‘Light in the Dark’ cultural weekend, which takes place on Langeland and Strynø on Friday 6 November and Saturday 7 November 2026. View the full programme at langeland.dk/lys
