The art trail through the streets of Rudkøbing takes you on a journey through the world of sculpture and the town’s vibrant art scene. The trail is approximately 5 km long.
Along the route you’ll find:
+ 10 artists and craftspeople
+ 15 works in public spaces
Artworks on the route
The artworks on the Rudkøbing Art Route have been created by both local and non-local artists. Some of the works have been donated to the island as gifts, some have been acquired by Langeland Municipality, whilst others have been created for a specific location on a particular occasion. There is great diversity in style, use of materials and scale. What the works have in common is that they are all located in public spaces.

The Art Route
The Art Route gives you the chance to combine major art and cultural experiences with visits to individual artists and craftspeople, whilst exploring Langeland’s most beautiful countryside and passing by art in public spaces.
