Bagenkop has a modern, nice and wellvisited marina, that has music on the open air stage in the summer. Furthermore, it is at the marina you will find a bakesale, ice cream sale and an art exhibition with new artists every week, which are open during summer.

Bagenkop has several good restaurants serving freshly caught fish and other delicious Danish cuisine. If you want to cook your own meals, you can buy fresh fish or groceries at the local Brugs supermarket.

Bagenkop is in many ways an active city. If you want to be physically active, the city has water activities and outdoor experiences, a sports hall, a fitness center and Jump´n Move for the younger children, or you can take a walk in the fiery soul footpath (app. 3 km), which will lead you through town and tell a little story.

Today the fort has been transformed into the popular Cold War Museum, which is now one of Langeland’s biggest tourist attractions. Stone Age life, burial customs and early surgical methods was found in Langeland's finest passage grave in Hulbjerg near Bagenkop.
