Experience filming on Langeland in the youth film B.O.Y., where Humble Church is the setting for a personal story about youth and identity.

Shards of Glass (2025) is a raw and moving youth drama about Tobias, a young man trapped in his own darkness. With no tools to deal with his emotions, he seeks refuge in self-harm - and behind the confident exterior lies a deep mental struggle.

Langeland as a film location - and inspiration

It was on a drive across Langeland that the film's director, Søren Green, spotted Humble Church - and immediately knew that the film would be shot on the island.

Several of the film's key scenes were shot on Langeland, and the local surroundings play an important role in the film's atmosphere.

The scenes from Langeland in the film are also shot in a number of privately owned houses and holiday homes.

In addition to Langeland, several scenes are shot in and around Svendborg, Ringe and Odense.
